I want to add my voice to this, and specifically flag HOSTAFRICA (hostafrica.co.za) as a critical integration for the South African market.
I'm a South African reseller, and 100% of my clients are in South Africa. Like many local hosts, my domain operations run through HOSTAFRICA, which already provides official WHMCS and Blesta modules, so their API is integration-ready. The only thing missing is Upmind support.
Right now, as far as I can tell, no one in South Africa is using Upmind, and the single biggest blocker is the lack of local registrar integrations. The entire SA market is stuck on WHMCS, Blesta, and legacy panels, not because Upmind isn't better, but because we can't manage our domains through it.
If Upmind adds HOSTAFRICA (or enables a custom/generic registrar module in v2), it doesn't just win my business, it opens the entire South African reseller market. That's a first-mover advantage in a region currently dominated by legacy platforms.

I completely agree with this, we currently use domains.co.za EPP reseller which they provide a module for whmcs, with no registrar support for South Africa as well as DNS management for domains, this has stopped us moving over to upmind. Upmind has a lot of potential however it seems nothing there is rarely any new actual features that come out, this product could disrupt the market , but it seems like thre is no interest from taking it out of a ‘beta’ version into fully functional SaaS offering….

Beta test the integration with real domains
Provide HOSTAFRICA API docs and test credentials
Act as a reference case for the SA market
Help drive adoption among South African resellers
HOSTAFRICA API details for the dev team:
Credentials: Client Panel → Domain Reseller → Integrations
Auth: time-sensitive token (API Key hashed with account email + current UTC hour, base64-encoded)
IP whitelist required
Docs: Domain Reseller → API Docs
This is a real, untapped market. I hope the team gives it serious consideration.
