Norid EPP Module

This is a request for the development of a Norid EPP module in Upmind. Norid is the official registry for .no domains in Norway, and all accredited Norwegian registrars are required to interface with Norid using EPP.

Feature Request
For any domain provider operating in the Norwegian market, integration with Norid is absolutely essential. Without this module, it is not possible to register, manage, or renew .no domains—the core domain extension for Norwegian customers. Implementing support for Norid EPP would open Upmind to a broad segment of the Nordic market and enable real adoption by domain providers in the region.
How Would You Use This in Upmind?
A Norid EPP module would be used to automate and manage all domain operations related to .no domains. This includes registration, renewal, transfer, deletion, and restoration of domains, as well as contact and nameserver management. Integration would allow domain providers to synchronize data with Norid, process changes in real time, and ensure compliance with Norwegian domain policy.
What problem does this solve for you?
Without Norid EPP support, Norwegian registrars cannot use Upmind to deliver their core domain services. The .no TLD is the most important and widely used domain extension in Norway, and support for it is a baseline requirement for any registrar operating in this space.
Impact of not having this feature
The absence of this feature effectively prevents any Norwegian registrar from migrating to Upmind. Since the .no domain is central to business in this market, any platform that does not support Norid EPP is simply not a viable option. This limits Upmind's market reach in Norway and excludes a well-established industry of registrars, resellers, and web hosting providers who might otherwise adopt the platform if local requirements were met.
