Registrar Integration Request: DaftarNama.id (Indonesia Market Expansion)

Hello Upmind Team,

I’d like to submit a feature / integration request for DaftarNama as an official registrar integration within Upmind.

To clarify my position, I’m sharing this as a domain industry professional and domainer, actively helping hosting providers and resellers adopt automation platforms. This is not an exclusive or representative request, but a recurring practical requirement I see in the Indonesian market.

Technical clarification:

  • DaftarNama provides a fully functional API, suitable for registrar-grade integrations

  • Both sandbox and production environments are available

  • A complete registrar workflow (provisioning, renewals, transfers, lifecycle sync, error handling, etc.) requires an official integration supported by the Upmind team, rather than manual or workaround-based implementations

API readiness:

Why this integration matters:

  • DaftarNama is widely used by Indonesian resellers, particularly for .ID domains

  • Several hosting providers are interested in adopting Upmind but require registrar support aligned with their local market

  • As a domainer and community connector, I’m ready to bring real potential users once this integration is available

Real-world example:

  • Few I’m assisting: pulaudomain.com, id.get.id, is currently preparing to evaluate and adopt Upmind

  • I’m personally helping with their setup

  • An official DaftarNama integration would significantly accelerate adoption for them and similar providers

Official registrar integration for DaftarNama within Upmind, enabling full domain lifecycle automation (registration, renewal, transfer, sync, and management) using DaftarNama’s existing sandbox and production APIs.
How Would You Use This in Upmind?
I would use this integration to connect Indonesian hosting providers and domain resellers to Upmind using DaftarNama as their primary registrar. In practice, this would allow providers to: * Provision new domain registrations directly from Upmind * Automate renewals and expirations * Handle inbound and outbound transfers * Sync domain status, expiry dates, and ownership data * Manage domains at scale without manual intervention As a domainer and industry consultant, I actively help providers evaluate and onboard automation platforms. An official DaftarNama integration would allow me to recommend Upmind as a production-ready solution for providers targeting the Indonesian market.
What problem does this solve for you?
Without an official integration, DaftarNama cannot be used reliably in Upmind for real registrar operations. While DaftarNama provides a fully functional API, manual API calls or webhook-based workarounds are not sufficient for: * Full domain lifecycle automation * Error handling and retries * Reliable state synchronization * Long-term production usage This creates a blocker for providers who want to adopt Upmind but must continue using DaftarNama due to local TLD requirements (.ID domains) and existing reseller relationships.
Impact of not having this feature
The absence of this integration limits Upmind adoption in Indonesia and nearby markets. From what I see in the field: * Providers delay or cancel adoption because their registrar is not supported * Manual processes increase operational overhead and risk * Upmind loses potential customers who are otherwise ready to onboard An official integration would directly convert interest into active usage and help Upmind expand into a high-growth regional market.
